WASH PROCESS VERIFICATION
How do you prove every item was actually washed?
By reading each item at the wash tunnel and checking that every received item was read at exactly one tunnel within a configured window. IntelTagRFID is a UHF-RFID textile tracking and laundry reconciliation platform that visualises in-plant flow from received, through the wash-tunnel bank, to packed and dispatched — then verifies the flow rather than assuming it. The check is set at 48 hours from receive by default, and items that fail it are listed individually.
Seeing the plant as a pipeline
The item movement pipeline shows flow from Received through the wash-tunnel bank to Packed and Dispatched, with per-station daily counts and a day-by-station read matrix. Read as a shape rather than a set of totals, it makes two different problems visible: stock that did not move, and stations that did not read.
The verification check itself
For each receive day, a verification card checks that every received item was read at exactly one wash tunnel within the configured window — 48 hours by default. Exactly one matters. No read means the item was not processed, or was not seen being processed. More than one read means a rewash, a double-handling, or a reader picking up items it should not. Each outcome is listed to the item.
Skipped items against reader gaps
These two look identical in a total and are entirely different in practice. The day-by-station read matrix separates them: a station that recorded nothing all day is a coverage or equipment problem, while items missing a tunnel read on a day when the tunnel read everything else is a process problem. Treating the first as the second sends an operations manager looking for behaviour that was never there.
Why a laundry would want this on the record
Process integrity is the claim a laundry cannot otherwise evidence. A customer asking whether their stock was genuinely processed, rather than counted and returned, has no way to verify an assurance. A per-receive-day verification that every item passed exactly one tunnel inside the window is a different kind of answer, and it is available to the customer through their own scoped login.
Common questions
The item movement pipeline visualises plant flow from Received through the wash-tunnel bank to Packed and Dispatched, with per-station daily counts and a day-by-station read matrix. A verification card then checks that every received item was read at exactly one wash tunnel within the configured window for each receive day.
A configured setting, 48 hours from receive by default, within which an item is expected to have been read at a wash tunnel. It is configuration per deployment, not a service guarantee.
No read means the item was not processed or not seen. More than one means a rewash, double-handling, or a reader capturing items it should not. The two failures have different causes and are listed separately.
Through the day-by-station read matrix. A station recording nothing all day indicates coverage or equipment failure, whereas items missing a read on a day the station read everything else indicates a process gap.
It is specific to commercial laundry, because it depends on readers at the wash-tunnel bank. It is the one capability in the platform that only exists inside a plant.
Yes, where the laundry gives them a scoped login. Each customer sees only their own linen data, enforced server-side on every drill-down.
